Regardless of our technical definition of a lifeform - it's everywhere and anything. Objects and ideas can assume complex personalities and form relationships; relationships that are illogical and philosophical, and personalities that tell a story. These items are filling every corners of our lives.
When we look at these objects, we catch a glimpse of ourselves. We have a cyclic relationship with objects: we define these objects, but they also define us. We, that are internalised. We, that are chosen. We, that are discarded. Who are we? What are these collections of posessions? What stories do they tell about us?
These are the subject matter of my practice.
